During the rainy season, we get used to the start & stop of rain, sometimes several times a day. There is a rhythm to the start, the downpour and the stop.

Thai traditional music, often includes the use of the xylophone (Ranet Ek) and the typical rhythms sound just like the pitter-patter rhythms of rain drops falling on a tin roof, the puddle outside your window or the sound of the drops hitting the lush vegetation as it falls.
