After heavy rains for a few day, there is little evidence of the the water being captured in the dam, I believe it’s the lowest I have ever seen it.

There seemed to be a lot of construction going on over at the government building area with an elaborate staircase being added down to the waterfront.

Buatong Waterfall is always a peaceful place to visit (noisy tranquility), its free, never very crowded and there were 2 other people there today ! The multi coloured spring area showed signs of flooding but I guess being at the source of the waterfall flow & being all down hill from there, the water had already been flushed down the mountain.
