Met up with Phil & Colin for a ride out past Samoeng.

After Samoeng, we made our way towards Yang Moen and Phil returned to Riders Corner to sort arrangements out for the evenings event with Horizons Unlimited at the restaurant.

Colin & I retraced my ride of 14 March 2009 but this time riding with a gps & a certain knowledge of how f the journey would be, unlike my previous trip !

Parts of the route were better, parts had deterioated. We were lucky with the rain, it held off & didn’t cause any problems, the surfaces were either very hard, slightly greasy or powder dry. Amazingly, just like 3 years ago, there was no sun today & at time bitterly cold at the high spots.
