This ride has been a long time coming, I needed to do it so many times over the last couple of years and finally I managed to complete it.

I took the 1001 up to Long Khot & turned right onto what I hoped was the road I wanted, eventually I found my way. The fact the route through here follows the valley, streams are abundant and you are never too far from the sound of trickling water, often needing to ride through it and in some spots, picturesque pools with rocks, sands & clear water. As well as a few photos, I kept stopping for so many views of birds, large & small, listening to the constant chattering, it was a twitchers feast.

The going in places was slow, the powder surface was a little tricky on the tyres but it gave me every chance to see & hear as much as I wanted. A very relaxing ride of just over 220 kms door to door.

Now I want to do it again, in the other direction & also do the northbound section towards Wiang Papao.
