🚆 นั่งรถไฟจากเชียงใหม่สู่ “อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยขุนตาน” | เดินป่าชมธรรมชาติและวิวสวย 🌿

In this video, we take the early morning train from Chiang Mai Railway Station, departing at 06:30 AM, for a day trip to Khun Tan National Park. The journey takes just over an hour and travels through the peaceful countryside of Chiang Mai and Lamphun provinces. Along the way, we enjoy views of freshly plowed rice fields, misty morning clouds, and small villages beginning their day, as well as a variety of breakfast options onboard.

We arrive at Khun Tan Railway Station, the highest railway station in Thailand, located next to the historic Khun Tan Tunnel, which marks the border between Lamphun and Lampang provinces.

From the station, we begin our hike into Khun Tan National Park. Entry is free for retirees in Thailand and 20–30 THB for younger visitors. The park is well maintained and offers a clean, natural environment with both forest trails and a paved road that winds through the Phi Pan Nam mountain range.

Our hike includes several crossings between Lamphun and Lampang provinces as we follow marked trails through the forest. Some sections are steep and require use of the road, while others offer shaded paths and scenic rest points. We reach a well-known viewpoint called Yaw 1, which offers stunning views over the Mae Tha Valley.

After enjoying the view, we stop for lunch at the Park’s Welfare Station, where we have Krapao Gai before heading back down the mountain.

We return to Khun Tan Station in time to catch the 13:30 train back to Chiang Mai, completing a full-day trip filled with nature, fitness, and scenic travel.
