Thailand Visa Extension Renewal for Retirement is a fairly simple process. However, it is important to recognise small changes to the process of renewing a ‘Non immigrant O visa’, for the purposes of retirement each year. Sometimes its the simple things that may affect the smooth execution of the precious stamp in our passports. This video outlines my experience in 2023 and how a simple matter of pen colour or name of an airport can trip you up at the final hurdle.

Paper work submitted

  • Completed TM7 (APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY STAY IN THE KINGDOM (TM.7))
  • Copy of all pages of passport
  • Copy of TM30 (NOTIFICATION FORM FOR HOUSE-MASTER, OWNER OR THE POSSESSOR OF THE RESIDENCE WHERE ALIEN HAS STAYED (TM.30))
  • Copy of TM47 90 Day report(FORM FOR ALIEN TO NOTIFY OF STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS (TM.47)
  • Arrival Card
  • 1 photo (1inch / 60×40)
  • Bank Statement for 1 year (ordered from Bangkok Bank (200thb & wait 1 week)
  • Updated Bank Passbook (on day of application)
  • Certificate confirming the passbook detail (on day of application)
