In this video I meet up with Ken of Bruno Unframed, visit Chiang Mai Immigration to conform to the 90 day reporting rule for foreigners in Thailand, clear some rubbish…
As an expat living in Thailand, it is essential to become familiar with Buddhist ceremonies, the traditions of Thai people and be able to understand your friends & family. In this video we visit Wat Pa From Panyo, where a relatively new temple building is being blessed and the Chofa, the ornament that adorns the end of the roof, is being mounted after lots of prayers, making merit and ceremony.
Luang Da Ma (หลวงตาม้า), a revered monk brought the great occasion together and was hoisted with other monks by crane to the temple roof, where a blessing was performed before the Chofa was mounted.
