The 1184 from Pa Sang is a brilliant road to ride, I have said that before, I like to ride it down... then back up again! Today I went off…
Colin & Kevin rode with me to Doi Tao, following the river as much as possible.
The river didn’t make us wet, it was the rain ! In March !! And cold too.
After the traditional stop at the viewpoint of Doi Tao, we headed east to the 106 & then cut across country for the 1184.
Riding up the 1184 is always a good experience but today was made more memorable by a sudden airborne moment. My Stiebel air horn fell off & my rear wheel immediately ran over it. Kevin very kindly witnessed the moment and commiserated that the unit was destroyed beyond repair.
Ouch, that was a costly mishap.[sgpx gpx=”/maps/doi-tao-wet-ride-march-2011.gpx” style=”width:100%; height:500px; border:1px solid gray; margin-right:20px; float:left;”]
