Loy Krathong 2022 was a very well organised festival in Chiang Mai this year, right down to the clean up of the Krathong and debris at Padaet Weir on the Ping River, just 1 day after the end of the main events. Today I visit the location of the dumped waste from the previous days and talk about how the media have stated that the waste would be separated and recycled. This year is far more efficient than previous years, from the proactive approach to operations lead by the new Chiang Mai Governor.
