This video shows the rescue of a severely injured dog by Amandine HandtoPaw, at the view point on Doi Suthep mountain in Chiang Mai. Amandine was responding to a call to help a dog, one of many feral dogs living in the forest, that was reported to be suffering from a badly infected ear. Amandine located the dog in a dirt hollow beneath the street vendors stall at the Chaloem Phra Kiat Pavilion Viewpoint, a location visited by so many tourists on their way up to the famous Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Amandine initially administered a de-stressing medicine to the dog and eventually carried the sleepy dog out to be transported down the mountain to a veterinarian clinic. At the clinic, vets immediately attended to the injured dog, diagnosing and defining a treatment plan which Amandine’s organisation will fund.
